Miles and Directions

0.0Park at the locked gate and walk up the road.

0.9The Barts Trail and the Canoncito Trail leave the road. Start up the Barts Trail, which is on the left.

1.0Cross the Faulty Trail and continue west on the Barts Trail.

2.6The Barts Trail ends at the Crest Trail; turn left onto the Crest Trail.

4.2Arrive at the point where the Crest Trail leaves the crest at the saddle north of South Sandia Peak; return the way you came.

8.4Arrive back at the parking area at the locked gate.
